STYLE and SUBSTANCE
This 2019 Napa Cab leaps out of the glass with a deep concentration and shadowed notes of espresso, black olive, dark berries and forest floor. It is perfectly balanced with dark fruit, level acidity and moderate tannins. The color is a ruby – purple tone and the dynamic flavors weave a perfect journey to the finish with hints of dark cocoa nibs and leather notes sparked with a long satisfying finish. This is a Cabernet, not a cliche. It is a serious wine.
THE TEAM
This new wine is a collaboration of two noted winemakers: Don Lorenzi from the South Coast and Julien Fayard from Napa Valley and France. Friends for many years, these two decided to join forces in 2019 during an evening of serious tasting. Thus, LORENZI NAPA was launched. This is the first in a limited series of Cabernet Sauvignons co-produced by them and is a rich, vibrant wine ready to savor now. They are also joining forces in a Napa Tasting room, Maison Fayard which will showcase Lorenzi and Fayard wines.
